co[LAB] Manila is still relishing the positivity that was cultivated during Meeting of the Minds, Manila - #ManilaMinds

sarahmeier:

A quick glimpse at what happened when a Meeting of the Minds was held in Manila on March 30, 2011.

40 of the city’s influencers in different sectors of society (media, arts, tourism, government, youth, business, NGO’s) gathered at co[LAB] Manila to discuss what “Change and Progress” meant to them.

Guest speaker, Filipino-American writer and activist, Ruby Veridiano, helped calibrate perspective by providing key words and springboard topics for discussion.

On behalf of my husband Banjo and myself, I’d like to thank everyone that contributed to this mind-melding session — I looked back into my inbox and counted — this get together was conceptualized and planned between Banj, Ruby, and I in a matter of 21 e-mails.

What can another 21 do, I wonder?

Connect with us by keeping #ManilaMinds as an active column/search on your favorite Twitter application, and we will be in touch soon for the next dot connecting session.

Til then -
Keep Minding, Manila.

Discaimer: This was my first attempt at shooting/editing anything (which has taught me that I cannot facilitate, participate and video tape at the same time - LOL).

[Special thanks to my proudly Filipino brothers, Quest, Nimbus9, and Santa Guerilla for the ill soundtrack!]
